First Youth Confrence

On the 24th June 2006, Cricklewood Youth Club organised a special youth conference involving selected youth and their fathers. The conference covered a number of pivotal and sensitive issues, this included the relationship between the youths and educational institutions, the relationship between the youths and their parents, between their peers and a number of other topics.

This event is the first of its kind, as it was the first time youths could really voice their concerns and in turn the older generation could also gain from the comments made by the youth. It has been long in the making and the 24/06/06 will no doubt be a major stepping stone in understanding the differences between the youths and our fathers. Some topics covered proofed to be uneasy for some ears, uneasy they may be, however they most certainly were valid points that must be further elaborated on in future conferences.
