i went omra back in 1998 (i think) a long time ago. the trip had many wonderful moments, which i will never forget.

The most amazing moments for me when I went Omra were when I saw the holy kabaa, I stood there for a good few minutes, viewing this amazing historic Islamic landmark. The other amazing moment was when I visited the grave of our prophet (saww), and relised how oppressed he is till this day where wahabies are guarding his tomb and hitting his every visitor if one gets near. An emotional moment was when we as a group visited the baqee, and saw how oppressed were our imams, having a wahabi guard around stopping the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (as) approach them was another painful scene. Then came the mystery of the grave of Fatima, As we were reading ziyara, where the reciter reached the line of “Peace be up on you oh crushed rib” waling & crying were heard from different directions, where as I felt my heart was been torn out, for Fatima Al Zahra (as) a special place is printed in my heart. Finally, a new Rida is born, I was encouraged & supported by close ones to read a poem in Arabic, which contained the conversation a loving shia & his awaited imam & the rememberance of the broken ribs of Fatima Al Zahra (as). On that night Mulla Rida was born.

Great trip to remember for life
