Is to provide a social, learning and friendly environment for our
youths of today, we live in the western society which is dominated my
materials that are irrelevant to the way of life that we follow. We aim
to help and guide our youth in the right direction so that they are not
lost and end up forgetting their religion/identity due to the society that we
live in today.
We feel our youths of today are extremely important as
one day it will be them carrying our message and our way of life, this
therefore is important that we are able to help and guide our youth
through life in the society that we live in today.

Cricklewood Youth Club was created in 2002 initially it
offered football training which proved to be a hit amongst the youths,
football training provided them with a social activity and a chance to
meet their friends every week. CYC was pioneered under Hamza Mahoney who
conducted training every week and went on to set up a Friday program for
the youths where they would learn more about their Islamic identity.
Since 2002 Cricklewood Youth has
gone a long way, under the leadership of Amir Jawad we have created much
more than football training, weekly lectures are still happening every Friday in
which we discuss Islamic, social and politic issues amongst the youth.
We also offer our weekly football training as well as other extra
activities which include table tennis.

We are hoping to establish a
platform for the youth to grow within an Islamic environment. We are
also hoping to facilitate many events on different wavelengths ranging
from sleepovers to trips around the world.
Our main objective is to renovate our youth room, giving us access to
more rooms and greater office space. This project could cost us over £25
000 pounds.
